Retractable Undercarriage

Becoming proficient in more complex aircraft types, such as those with a retractable undercarriage, is a rewarding achievement. A retractable undercarriage endorsement allows you to pilot a wider range of aircraft, including higher-performance models such as multi-engine types.

Manual Pitch Propeller Control

More complex aircraft with greater power often feature variable pitch propellers, which automatically adjust the blade pitch to optimize engine performance. This is known as Manual Pitch Propeller Control (MPPC). An MPPC endorsement allows you to pilot many additional types of aircraft.
